Wireless Network

Service Offering Description

The Wireless network service offering provides device access to the College's network via a radio signal frequency.  This allows untethered access to network and Internet resources from supported technology devices such as laptops and mobile phones.

Standard Features

  • Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS Data Encryption)
  • 802.1x Authentication

Roles and Responsibilities

Requester Responsibilities:

IT Responsibilities:

  • Provide uninterrupted coverage across all campuses
  • Stay up to date on network features and enhancements.
  • Uphold usage policy

Service Audience 

  • Faculty, staff, and students can utilize the wireless network.

Service Level Agreement

Response and resolution times are based on operational hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).        

Response Time            1 business day

Resolution Time          4 business days

Please Note: Response Time is measured from ticket submission date/time until the ticket is moved to an 'In Process' status. Resolution Time is measured from ticket submission date/time until the ticket is completed/resolved.
