How much does it cost to print on-campus as a student?

Notes:

Students are given a $30 credit for printing and copying at the start of every semester.  Any unused free balance is not rolled over to the following semester or refunded. The student will  receive a new $30 free printing credit each semester, as long as they are properly registered.

If a student has used their full $30 credit and needs to print more, they can add funds:

  • Use a credit card or PayPal at the PaperCut web interface - https://print.ecc.edu or
  • with cash at the Bill Collector Station next to the Print Release Station.

If a student has added funds to their print/copy balance, any paid balance will roll over to the following semester.  Please note that your paid balance cannot be refunded.  We recommend only adding enough funds to complete your current printing needs.

For any print jobs that do not print correctly due to hardware issues, an account credit may be issued.  Please notify the lab attendant if available or contact the ITS Service Desk with the location where you were printing, the time and date of the print job and issue (ie: low toner, prints were not readable).

Costs:

  1. Black and white printing is $0.05/page and $0.08/page double-sided (duplex).
  2. Color prints are $0.25/page and $0.40/page double-sided (duplex).
  3. Copying is $0.15 for each single page and $0.24/page double-sided (duplex).
