How do I project the desktop on a teaching station?

Answer 1:
Make sure the computer is on
Press the Windows Key (W) + P, this should bring up the "Project to" menu
Select Duplicate
Answer 2:
Power down the projector, then turn off the computer
Turn on the computer, and once it is fully booted up, turn on the projector
Outcome:
The computer desktop will now be projected to the class
