How do I install, configure and use VPN (Virtual Private Network ) on a SUNY Erie computer?

Answer   

  1. Global Protect VPN should be installed on your SUNY Erie Laptop.  To check to see if it is, go to the "Type here to search" box  and type "GlobalProtect".
  2. If it does not come up, go to  Software Center and check under "Applications" to see if it is there.  Click on it to install.  
  3. If it is not installed or in Software Center, please submit a ticket here.
  4. Enter your email address as the username and then your password.
  5. Secondary form of authentication, text message or authenticator app, will be triggered.
