How do I access Microsoft's Azure Dev Tools for Learning?

Answer:

Microsoft Azure Dev Tools site provides development resources for students.  These resources include operating systems, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Visual Studio.  Please note that these tools are for academic use only.   To access the site:

  1. Go to https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/students?WT.mc_id=academic-0000-cxa
  2. Click on the green Start Free button located near the top of the page
  3. Use your SUNY Erie email address and password to sign in
  4. Complete the address section of Your Profile Form, making sure to check the agreement check box, then click the Sign Up button at the bottom
  5. You will be redirected to the Education Azure Portal page.  Click Software under the Learning Resources heading on the left side to download software

When you are logged in:

You will see a list of Microsoft software ranging from Access to Visual Studio to Visio and more.
