How do I access my voicemail?

Notes:

Voicemail can also be accessed through email, you can listen to any messages on your computer or smartphone.

Accessing Voicemail from Your Desktop or Webex Calling:

1. Press the Voicemail button, it looks like a cassette tape or dial 2800 to access the voicemail message system.
2. Enter you PIN.  Your initial voicemail PIN is 2468. Then press # (pound).
3. If you have new messages, they will start playing.  When there are no new messages, it will start in the main menu.

Accessing Voicemail from any Off-Campus Phone:

1. Dial 716-270-2800
2. Then you will be prompted to enter your ID followed by #. Your ID is your seven-digit phone number, for example 851 1835 followed by # 
3. Then enter your PIN followed by #
4. If you have new messages, they will start playing. When there are no new messages, it will start in the main menu.

Options During Message Playback: 

• Press 1 to Repeat
• Press 2 to Save
• Press 3 to Delete
• Press 4 to Replay (record and send a reply message)
• Press 5 to Forward (send the message to another extension
• Press 6 to Mark New
• Press 7 to Skip Back (rewind message a few seconds)
• Press 9 for Properties (plays message details like: caller, time, date, etc.)
• Press * to cancel message playback and go the Main Menu

Options in the Main Menu:  

• Press 1 to Listen to New Messages
• Press 2 to Send a Message
• Press 3 to Review Old Messages (to listen or delete them)
• Press 4 to Access Setup Options, such as greetings, call transfer, message settings, and personal settings
• Press 6 to List your Meetings
• Press 0 for Help
