Why Can't I Login?

Notes

  • If a student has been accepted, but still does not have a user account, please call SUNY Erie Admissions department at 716-851-1456 to check Acceptance status.
  • Please try a different web browser such as: Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or a private window.
  • Ensure you are using your entire SUNY Erie email address (ie: username@ecc.edu) when logging into the MyECC portal or other SUNY Erie website.  When logging into a SUNY Erie computer or the wireless network, use your username only.
  • Students are loaded into Brightspace 24 hours after registering.  However, students will not be able to access their courses until the first day of classes.
  • Students may only log on to campus computers after successfully registering for classes.

Answer 1:

  • Students: Verify that you are using the correct username at https://myusername.ecc.edu
  • Employees: Verify your employment status with Human Resources by calling (716) 851-1840

Answer 2: 

How do I know if I am logged in?

  • You will see your name listed on the site that you are trying to log in to.
